The Sweaty Bastards are two UK-based trance DJ’s, Darran Bartley & Proxi. We host a monthly radio show called “Bedtime Stories” on two popular radio streams (see Radio page). Mixing an hour each, the show is a journey through melodic, transcendent bedtime listening.

Away from this, Proxi presents “Trancing It Up”, a 2 hour fairytale trance mix series which is broadcast on two radio stations (again see Radio page) on the 4th Sunday of each month and is still going strong since it emerged in the autumn of 2005. Darran Bartley also provides a weekly trance offering uploaded directly to this site, called A.W.E. – A Week Entranced, which is already sounding every bit the essential weekly mix for those who like it passionate and melodic.

Under their guise the “Sweaty Bastards”, Darran & Proxi have released a series of CDs, and mashed together a ever-growing list of bootlegs as they delve towards meaningful productions! Coming soon will be a monthly series of mood mixes.
