Trancing It Up 059 (July 2010)

Sweet crepe! There’s enough guitars, pads and synths of awesome quality this month to send you into deep space. In a month where Toy Story 3 brought me to a few tears when the missus wasn’t looking, I felt it only right to mix together a set of emotional, knicker-dropping tracks worthy enough of a few tears from your genitalia upon listening!

Asbjorn Hegdahl gets another “Tune Of The Month” status for Up, it’s absolutely full of energy and beef, whilst the melodies extract your sap quicker than a sly gobble from Scarlett Johansson. Mega impressed by the new Soundlift EP and his remix of Thunderstorm by John Waver, he’s fast becoming one of my favourite producers. Andy Blueman aka Automatic Bombman delivers another bedwetter in Florescence and I also included a tune I’d never heard until last week, even though I’m a massive fan of the remixer – Oen Bearen. His mix of Ice Upon Fire – Mind Stories told me a sexual tale about spunking all over the speakers, thanks for that!
