Trancing It Up Vol. 053 (Jan 2010)

Fuck me, not a great start to the month away from music. I’ve been ill, I’ve a landlord who’s a bigger arse than even my arse after Christmas feasting, it’s been the coldest January ever and I had the worst reaction off a new whisky I’d tried ever, haha fuck me where was the love?

Turns out it appeared in the trance releases that popped out whilst I was busy chomping my pillow and warming my bollocks back up from a state of ice blue.  Must admit I haven’t a clue when DJ Gard’s “The Beauty Of Life” first appeared but I found it by chance and it led me to finding the rest of his work. Oh my god, what a hero! Nery delivered a couple of instant classics, Sir Bjornus Lovejoy Akesson gave Snooze a reworking into a Wet Dream and by jove, Simon Patterson melted my heart like he & Richie Kayvan did when they churned “Without You” out.

Really enjoyed it, livened up the month no end.

Now I cannot wait for 2nd of February. Really, my favourite TV show in the world finally returns. Hence the inclusion of The Dharma Initiative
