“A Week Entranced” is a project whereby I will mix 1 hour of fine trance sounds, old new and everything in between will be considered, as there’s no point making hour long mixes of new tunes if 50 minutes of the new stuff is dull and boring.
So here is the opening episode, only 1 “really” new tune in the mix, what with the Christmas & New Year madness, there’s not really been time to search out the latest and best releases, so instead, here is an idea of the sound I like to create, uplifting riffs and entrancing breakdowns, expect a lot of this in coming weeks, but also expect a few curve balls thrown in there for good measure!
So enjoy what will hopefully be a long running series, check out track 3, “Dissidia” for my tune of the week, from the man very much in form at the moment, Manuel Le Saux, also get your ears around my favourite track of 2008, track 5, DJ Shah – Back To You, and the Aly & Fila remix of Sunlounger – Lost too! Finally got round to listening to this on the iPod, must admit I dunno why I’ve left Back To You out of all my mixes so far, it’s bloody good albeit not in my opinion as good as Lost!
Dissidia is awesome, can’t wait for the Med & Bamford mix boyo I KNOW you’ll be soiling it
All in all, fucking nice mix to start the series off, ace to hear Home in there too, used to love listening to that when on the train home to me missus, arf
